 4 Power Lunch Box Ideas 

Lunch box ideas can be nutritious and healthy at the same time! They are the perfect recipes for the hot summer days when you should not eat fried foods or anything that will keep your tummy bloated. These recipes are perfect for children, too, because in general apart from being super healthy and easy to do them yourself they are also very delicious.

So, if you are out of ideas about creating the perfect meal for the entire family, do not worry anymore! You can do them for everyone because even the youngest members of the family are not going to dislike these summer friendly lunch box recipes!

The first on our list is the green bean salad which is done with a bit of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, a tablespoon of mustard, one huge scoop of green beans, four turkey bacon slices chopped and cooked and parmesan cheese (we love lowfat parmesan so that is what we picked).

First of all, you put the vinegar along with the oil and the mustard and mix it up. After that, add the meat with the green beans. Stir it for 5 to 10 minutes. Put a little bit of parmesan cheese on top. You can add a bit of homemade hummus or peanut butter if you like for some extra protein!

Avocado sandwich is the second power recipe on our list! You will need two avocados, a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and a little bit of sea salt, three or four boiled eggs, Greek yogurt (low fat of course!), two onions, two tablespoons of mustard, one tablespoon of onion and one of garlic powder, lettuce leaves, two or four slices of tomatoes and bread (whichever type of bread you prefer is fine for this meal).

First and foremost, you need to combine all of the abovementioned ingredients in one bowl and mix them well- all of them except the eggs, lettuce and tomatoes. After that, spread all of the boiled eggs and put the tomatoes and lettuces on top, along with the mixture that you have already combined. Voila! You have your power balanced avocado sandwiches ready!

Cheese and broccoli quiche is the third recipe on our power recipe list. You will need three or four organic eggs, evaporated milk (go for fat free milk, always), steamed broccoli, one cup of Cheddar cheese, lemon pepper and four or five sweet peppers.

First of all, preheat your over and put some great on a muffin pan where you will place the mixture. Start beating the eggs lightly in a small bowl. After that, put the broccoli, milk and the cheese along with the lemon pepper. Start stirring the mixture and divide it into muffin cups. Start baking and keep on baking for 20 minutes and when you take the muffin pan out, let them cool for about 15 minutes.

You can eat them immediately, store them in your lunch boxor put them in the freezer. They will still be delicious even after a couple of days after preparing them. Enjoy your power lunch box!
